Coco is a new media artist specializing in implementing AR and VR as creative mediums, exploring the projection of virtual spaces onto everyday objects and the possibilities of applying gaming in artistic creation. Recently, she has focused on women’s gender issues, creating the current research project Cleo and the VR interactive animation About Your Death. Coco graduated from the Department of Interior Design at the School of Architecture, Feng Chia University in 2021. After graduation, she focused on 3D digital art and virtual space creation. In 2022, she pursued the master’s program in Techno Art at National Cheng Kung University, delving into the exploration and application of gaming, animation, and virtual reality media.
In 2023, she published the study “Research on Digital Archives and Value-Added Applications of Matsu Battlefield Cultural Heritage through Minecraft”, exploring the potential and approaches for preserving battlefield heritage through online gaming. In the same year, she also participated in the joint exhibition Matsu: Island Art – External Impressions/ Internal Perceptions, extending the theme of Matsu battlefield cultural heritage and co-creating the VR immersive experience M.A.T.S.U – Memories and the Stories Underneath with music artist Peter Harrison and visual artist Amurzaya Batdavaa.
